The measuring procedure

f.i.x compares the position of the front wheel to the rear wheel. With the help of three special adaptors two bases are fixed to each rim. The two integrated shafts at each base with the laser and the mirror this way are positioned precisely parallel to the wheel axis.

With the help of the adjusting device connecting the two bases, the user installs the front wheel precisely in straight forward position.

The laser beam now will be reflected right into its origin by the mirror at the front base. The laser beam is directed to the indicator hanging at the handlebars either by turning the laser accordingly. After positioning the laser beam at the indicator via the mirror at the front base the difference between both readings is obvious.

The resulting Scheibner scooter measuring protocol displays the camber, the wheel distance and the wheel offset. The state of the frame and the front fork are verified relatively to the reference index data of the database. With a true result the frame and the front fork are ready for further use. The not true result requires further investigation (for example with the mega-m.a.x) in order to differentiate which part exactly is damaged, the frame and / or the front fork.
